L.A. & Las Vegas

We spent less than 24 hours in Los Angeles, and it was some of the best 24 hours we've ever spent. We landed and the first thing we did was stop at Randy's Donuts (of course). It's just right next to the LAX airport. Their donuts are pretty good, nothing to die over...but the building has a huge donut on the top of it, and it's been featured in tons of shows, and movies. So, we had to go give it a try :). Then we headed down the PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) to Malibu. You guys, it is the most beautiful drive along the coast of California. We drove to the most gorgeous beach in Malibu, called El Matador. I just googled pretty beaches in Malibu California, and that's what came up...so we decided to give it a go. Oh my gosh! It was around 6pm so the sun was just starting to set and the breeze was blowing, it was the perfect scene for pretty much anything. It was pretty swamped full of photographers and models. But, we loved it anyway. That night we went out with Rodrigo's cute niece at this place in Hollywood called "Pink Taco". It was really good food, and awesome drinks, we even got entertained by a "street walker" who was a man dressed as a woman. It was really fun, and really good food. :)

The next morning we flew to Las Vegas, and spent the day by the pool and of course we walked around the strip. It was pretty hot, so we tried to stay inside or near the pool for most of the day. That night though, we got all dolled up and went to a masquerade ball! It was really really fun! We loved it! It was held at the Mandalay Bay, and the people who hosted it went all out! They had ribbon dancers, and a DJ! We ended the night by visiting an all you could eat sushi, because when you're in Vegas, that's what you do right? I ate so much sushi, I don't think I've eaten sushi since...But, it was an awesome night filled with lots of dancing, lots of food, and laughter.
